Intresting read on engine oils

I just switched over to Mobil 1 Syn. Before running syn I used to use Castrol GTX, I always liked it...very impressed to see how it did, better then some of the synthetic oils tested!

they always test there oils against regular oils but i would like to see a test against redline, royal purple, torco, and lucas.

yeah of couse they wont test against them because it will give them a run for their money.

I don't trust any tests coming from a company that produces oil......therefore making money off of the results.

hurmm to each their own, I think they might stack THEIR results but other then that its prob alright

I see valvoline is not in any of there tests. Could that be because it out performed Amsoil in all area's?

every study can be compared to another showing diffrent results........more of a ad campain I think

I use Mobil1 if theres somthing better i sure would like to know.

I use mobil1 and dont feel like spending any more on a oil, im sure there are better out there but not worth the diffrence.
