IDK 4800 for a car with those kinds of mods could be a nightmare if they were not installed properly. You could get it home and the motor let go and totaly blow up :-[. Or it could last for years you never know. I personaly DONT LIKE even looking at cars with major mods, ( like this one with a built motor ) its alwasy a gamble as to how it was put together and what parts were REALLY used for internals. I wouldnt give it a second look if I were you :eek:uttahere: but thats just me.

AS far as the price = to what your getting, 4800 sounds Ok I guess if the body is in great shape NO rust / damage or the rest. Plus you do have some goodies on thier that could be sold and turn some money on. IDK what to tell you, its a SEE IN PERSON deal IMHO.

it does not sound like a bad deal, if everything is OK with the engine and stuff... but in my opinion, you will be buying another peasons headache... Buy a cheap fox and build it up from there... that is the best option...

I agree with everyone, if you could find out the true history of the car it may not be a bad deal.

The price is good if it holds together. It's true you could part it out if it goes bad, but that is still time you have to invest. It appears you are buying the car for it's mods (motor etc.) So you better make sure you look into who built the motor, tuned and installed it. I would even ask to see paperwork and give that shop a call. I was going to buy a car similar to the one you are looking at and when I asked the guy for the work order for the motor, he stated, "well, i don's have all of it". Right then the deal was dead from my end.

Also ask why he is selling it. If it's a legite reason then take the next step.

i was in tech school looking at this same car the other day lol, one of my friends called about it also but he doesn't have enough money to buy it right now. I think it looks like a good deal, but you def have to go see the car in person and drive it before you buy it
