As of late I have found myself wondering whether or not my brief idea to move on from the mustang is either a mere passing whim or just a good idea. For those of you who don't know, I saved the car from ultimate doom being parted and crushed from the junkyard, and now as it sits today it stands out in the parking lot from all the other nice cars at work. Aside from motor work, really all it has is small squeaks and rattles to fix, and those are simple (springs, dash needs some screws put in it, CAI squeaks). I recently bought a quad (ATV) and have been having the time of my life, and have been thinking about moving on to a truck (4x4) because, well I have my fair share of redneck country boy in me, and I don't deny it. Camo is my favorite color. lol. Everytime I think about selling it, In reality I know I want to keep it forever, but also know that it may be time to move on and buy something more useful for myself, as I'm going back to college this year, money will be tight(ish) like any normal college folk. It would be just a nice 4x4 F150, Ranger, or Silverado. I don't know whether I'm going crazy or am I on the right train of thought. Most of you know me well, especially Dave, that I do change cars alot, but I still have this one, which I'm proud of. Am I crazy? I'd considering buying a second car if I had the money, But I don't. Heres a reference for those of you who've never seen the car.

If it's paid for keep it. Nothing wrong w/ having a second vehicle. Pull the tag/ins and it doesn't cost you a dime sitting there.

It's always been paid for, except for the wheels. I owe like 400 on those lol. Talking to my old man, he said pull the tags/ins and we'll find you a cheap redneck 4x4. My main issue with the car is I HATE driving it to walmart or big parking lots, move theaters etc. because I can't see it. Makes it a pain to drive everyday

gotta have a beater if you plan on keeping the stang... its the only way to not go crazy. Find a cheap pick m up and park the mustang until you get that itch that you know you will get.

I plan on keeping it now. The wheels aren't going anywhere. I'm doing just fine money wise, just not enough to buy something else.

Thought the same thing last year/early this year. Doing the cobra seats/Steering wheel/springs/S/S helped me decide to keep it. Figured I was just bored with it a bit and needed a change.

Now that I made up my mind to keep my stang, I say the same thing all these guys told me... KEEP IT!

Get a cheap Ranger 4x4, they're really good.

Good choice, i used to think about trading it but after i hit 10 years ownership i figured i've come this far why give up now. Its now 13 going on 14 years and unless it gets wrecked or stolen i should have it until i die.

good choice man. i sold my 98 gt around 3 1/2 years ago so i could buy a 05 ram to haul my quad around with. worst mistake i have ever made. i want to kick my self in the ass everytime i think about it. I have another stang, but the truck is long gone and the quad just sits.
