i was trying to sell my 84 mustang gt (4 eye) and the buyer had finacial trouble and i got it back. now im considering putting a BB 460 in it but its only got 40,000 miles would tht b wtong of me or it i did it clean enough to make it a show car would tht b ok?

If it only has 40k miles I would build up the stock engine...sounds like it has a lot of potential.

ya, thats a low milage 4 eye! i agree with Jon since it has such low miles. just do a hci or supercharge or both! then you'll have plenty of power and probably cheaper than the bb

No need for the boat anchor..HCI plus upgrading the trans and rear would make for a nice 4-eye

lol i dont think 500-600hp BB would slow me down any and it would cost just as much to build motor in it as to build the BB. since i already have the BB. ill get pics up later this week

Doing a 460 rebuild won't cost that much if your just going to keep almost all the stock parts and just add new bearing and seals. The Swap itself is where you get the info. I myself was looking into the BB swap until i found out about the way Virginia does inspections.

yea im on both those forums and i am guna keep it mainly stock just port heads and new carb. im in south carolina nothing to worry about
