Car is running great loving the 3v and the sound of it. I'm getting some ideas what to do, right now my main idea is to update the interior with the 2011+ interior. I went back to a factory Shaker 500 head unit because as you guys may have noticed in the past I don't like aftermarket units unless they are clean, flush and have a OEM look to them. Not only that but whoever hooked it up didn't do it right so it had absolutely no bass lol.

Anyway my buddy recently got into the Mustang game, he picked up a '93 GT for $2500, only mods are a e303 cam, bbk shorty headers, x pipe.

Here are some pics

It needs be ALOT more low lol I'm gonna lower it before getting new wheels I kinda like the current wheels so I'm in no hurry to get rid of them.

It has the IUP package so it came with the MyColor I can make more than 125 different colors with it.

Yeah the stock wheels aren't bad.
Ah, thats nice that you can change the color. I have an 09 focus, can't change the gauge color but I can change the "mood light" color on the floor and cup holders.

Looks good! I'd probably do an exhaust 1st. Needs some big pypes out the back rather than those puny stock tips. Clean looking car for sure.

I just did brakes on all 4 corners. Need to replace my e-brake cables.

Also replaced my stock airbox, all coilpacks, and new plugs. Made a world of difference on how it runs.

Looks good. Always nice to see 2 Mustangs side by side & see how they've changed over the years.

Thanks Tony long time no see! LOL

I don't plan to do a FULL interior conversion just the door panels really, I hate the 05-09 door panels. I have plans for Shelby Razor wheels, duck tail spoiler, Roush front bumper and headlight splitters. Debating on headers but I am also thinking of either going completely straight pipe or find some SLP's. Idk I got a list a mile long but right now my only concern with it is to make sure it continues to be reliable and then start improving the flaws it has.

Very nice. I'd say keep the fanblade wheels, personal bias, my favorites in the S197 series save for the brief time that they offered the Marauder replica wheels 07-08ish. Since I'm a fan of stock or close to it, if it was me, I'd keep the mods to a minimum. Says the broke-ass guy with a stock New Edge #firsttimefatherproblems

I drove an 05 V6 a few years back, good low-end (b/c it's a truck motor) and very comfortable driving position.

My sisters boyfriend has a 06 V6. Got the GT/CS front clip, KR hood, Roush spoiler, 20'' Gunmetal shelby razors. Looks insane, just lacking a few cylinders haha. The 05-09s are extremely comfy to drive, the seats are so much nicer than the shitty 94-98s lol.

As a fellow S197 owner, car looks fantastic, especially for those miles. What happened to the old GT?

Love the S197s. Had an 05 for 6.5 yrs. Fanblades are solid OEM wheels. Looks like you got a clean example. Here is a shot of my Screaming Yellow:

So many vinyls can make these cars really stand out. I also went with straight pipes for it. It was loud. Almost too loud, but that's the point, right? Here is a link to a vid of the exhaust (sorry for the crappy sound... just a digital camera back then!):

Man I love the seats! I took a 2 hour drive to LRS a month ago with my buddy and we never once had to stop to stretch our legs!

Eh too many things were going on at once and decided to just give her up. She needed some work done to the valves, clutch work and cosmetic work. Stuff I didn't have time or money for at the time.
Got rid of her and then found this beauty.
