JVC Kd-sx770 head unit?

This guy at works wants me to buy the jvc for 50 and give him my Alpine. DEAL OR DUD?

I like jvc, but would still rate jvc < alpine in that auto world. Photobucket is doing maint now so I can't tell which one it is to compair features but would still consider it a downgrade over all.

Cant tell about your Alpine since I cant make out the model # but that JVC is nothing special, an older model and not even line-in for MP3 or Ipod controls

In my opinion that JVC is barely worth $50 by itself let alone your head unit plus $50

If you're set on getting a new headunit, grab a new one. Even basic ones come with a lot more features than you'd think now a days.

both those units look pretty dated.
but even if it werent for that, i woudnt take either one for the simple reason that there's no aux input

IMO alpine is superior in car audio stay away from sony, jvc, jensen, dual etc...

jvc makes some good car stuff I would rate it above those two brands for sure.
