Alright so I've got a Kenwood DDX512 double din head unit and the newer radio bezel to put into my 95. I am just wondering if there is going to be any extra wiring needed since I'm going from single din to double din. I also have the mach 460 system in my car which I have read creates extra hassle. I am not to informed about wiring/audio so will it be a straight forward install or is it pretty difficult? I know that I will have to fab up a bracket to hold the head unit in.

If you plan to utilize Mach system, you will need the integration harness for it. I installed a Kenwood head unit in my car (Mach-equipped) and honestly it was not much of a hassle.

Is that just something you can pick up at best buy? Right now it has an alpine single din head unit in there so is there a good chance the wiring is already there?

I guess it must be, unless the person who installed it did a lot of work wiring it their own way. I can't say for certain if the same piece would be compatible with an Alpine and a Kenwood though. And, although I doubt it, I don't know if there is a different harness for single versus double din units.

Take a look at this: http://forums.corral.net/forums/aud...t-head-unit-harness-install-mach-460-how.html

Maybe that will put your mind at ease a little bit. Obviously his install is slightly different. My harness came free with my head unit when I ordered from Crutchfield, but it can be had from a variety of places online for a decent price.
