By not using the whole rotor like that, it reduces surface area per cubic inch.. but still retains plenty of rotor to grab onto with it bein larger then the GT rotors.. if i said that right it should make sense.. basically helps when over heating the brakes and locking them up

The increased braking power comes more from leverage than coverage. It does look stupid though, zinc washed rotor's help make it look less stupid.

so you dont need a larger contact patch for better stopping.... ??? huh i didn't know that lol

Well obviously there is a gain from an increased patch, but you get more out of leverage. And too much patch doesn't let gasses out and would probably create too much heat too.

when you use big words like that, it'll always make sense :hammer: we dont use big words round these parts ya hear
