...weird driving around my neighborhood seeing what Sandy left behind. I decided to snap a few quick pics while it was sunny out. Photos were edited by my friend in PS so my terrible camera skills aren't as apparent.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Yes we got it pretty bad but like Tony said we're pretty tough, so we'll stick it out.

Jones Beach among others is in a pretty bad state, I haven't been there but something tells me I won't be going there for 4th of July next year.

Coney Island/Sheepshead Bay are pretty f'd up, LOTS of flood damage and people without power, flooded cars galore.

Where I live was actually ok(I live in Staten Island Rosebank Area) but all around me was terrible. A friend lost a pretty mint 97GT with lotsa bolt-ons and custom paint... I was very sad to hear about it.

And just in case some of you didn't notice, the second pic was my poor attempt in showing that boat being run ashore by the coastal flooding that Sandy brought upon us.

I thought the second pic the boat was at a marina on loading chains. That's why I didn't say anything.

Goodness, that's terrbile.

Thanks guys. I thought the last photo came out better than the others.

Tony, I feel ya on sports for sure haha. At least the Knicks are back on form after like 10 years lol.

And That shit tanker was definitely a sight to see, might go back and snap more shots of it. The hull folded in half on the embankment since it simply dropped down as the storm surge receded so half the boat is in the water, while the other is on the ground.

Found a pic.

Cool pics Sergey, hope you made it through okay. Many parts of Long Island got boned, some areas have nothing left...there are still places I can't drive through, and many I know who have only gotten power/hot water back within the last week. Seen so many pictures and videos and just have to be thankful that I was so lucky to not have any major issues with the storms.

Here's a clip that's making it's way around (I'm not affiliated with them or anything, but it's just a small sample of the aftermath):

Glad to hear you made it out ok Justin! So much commotion, I meant to text ya, sorry.

That's a breathtaking video, I know and have been to those places many times, from Lido Beach to the Rockaways. So sad...

No worries bro, it's all good. I know a ton of people from Long Beach, just devastated. They had National Guard trucks with mounted guns at checkpoints...I've heard some crazy stories. Breezy Point, there's nothing left. I'm afraid to go across the Robert Moses if it's even passable. I'm lucky to be in the center of the island.
