is the frpp king cobra clutch strong enough for a 331 stroker lets say 400hp400tq

You'd be REALLY close to it's strength.

I would do a Centerforce Dual Friction or a Spec clutch.

Don't know a thing about Fidanza clutches.

Fidanza 1.0 is rated to 350 rear wheel torque so the 2.1 ought to be perfect. I love my Fidanza 1.0 so far in my car (stock) as good as the OEM for feel...I think Fidanza will be a good choice for a lot of applications...we will see.

if you plan on abusing it with slicks don't waste your time with the KC clutch.

I have run one for about 50 passes. So far it is holding up perfect. Have about 420HP at the wheels when I run a 100 shot of nitrous. KC good enough for small wheelies and breaking axles on drag radials. That said, I would recommend just a little more clutch to be safe.
