I'm going to get my car painted soon, and I was curious on how to remove the badges on the car? I've got the typical tri-color pony on the left and right fenders, the Ford badge, and a dealer badge (I'm trashing it anyway).

they should just pry up. If you are reusing any of the badges just be careful. I believe they use an adhesive.

Use fishing line. Start at one end of the emblem and, almost like your sawing with the fishing line, work it through.
