My car has developed a wierd problem.. in the psat i had a h pipe on before i slapped beautiful longtubes on.. anyways longstory short, i bottomed out the pipe one day and it broke a 02 sensor. ever since then the harness has been stripped open where the wires ground out on stuff from time to time, and this used to pop the fuel pump fuse thats in the engine bay (20A Yeller) so i went back threw the harness and sure enough their was wire touching my prochamber causing a short, so i went threw and taped up all the connections and tied it down with the rest of the harness..
and i raped a 3v the other day and popped one.. <-- but when i inspected the harness this time nothing was touching
yesterday i pulled off on a m3 <-- and it popped one. only when i hit 5th gear, instantly
and i changed out three more fuses to finally get it home, without touching the harness at all.
so i guess where im at now is that i ruled out the possibilities of it being related to the harness issue from the past, however later today im going to raise the car up and get under it where i can reinspect everything once again, because it was dark last night when this was all going on and i had a flashlight as i worked.
and my next question is that does this mean that im having fuel issues, since this only happens under wot, and if it helps the battery light comes on almost immediately after the car dies, not before, just after. maybe im about to lose my pump, the last fuse i put in was a 30, i got sick of changing 20s out so maybe this will help out? havent had any problems yet, but ive only driven it for a mile since..
