That red Saleen would look so much better with the side and hood scoops painted red and with some dark headlights.

They are PF Racing carbon fiber pieces... Hard to see in pics. Taillight bezels, hood and side scoops and side mirrors. I had smoked lights but the older the cars get, I like the stock sides and the rubber isnt cheap like all the other ones.

Sounds pretty sweet. Any higher quality photos of it?

That's cool, they'd still look better body color imo. The hood scoops don't bother me so much but the side scoops just look out of place.

my dad has so many old mustangs, plans are always changing. the coupe will prob be a quick resto and sold, the fastback will probably be a shelby clone that he'll keep. he has 6 more 67-68 fastbacks, 2 69 mach 1's, 1 70 mach 1, and 1 67 vert, along with a 65, 66 and 72 big block corvette and a 396 66 chevelle. since its red and its the only car he has thats restored i'll post a pic of the vert to keep this post on topic

thats kinda how i got my mustang start. my mom remarried when i was 7. my step-dad had about 18 mustangs at the time. several 69-70 Boss 302's, 1 71' Boss 351, Several 69-70 Mach 1's. Among the collection of foxes was a 1993 Cobra R and an 86' SVO with less than 10,000 miles. several lx's and 2 79' pace cars.. most of it is gone now. sold it all to a man up north during my first trip overseas. I want too happy when i got home. They were his cars but i grew up working on them. were down to a few fox bodys a 70' vert and my cobra.
