I guess I'll play some. Here's my old car, wish I had never sold it. Oh well.

Hahahaha ouch. It's true. I'm yearning for another 5.0L car, especially one that looks as good as that one did.

I still have this though, so I'm still kind of cool.

well i wasn't going to hijack but since everyone else is commenting, Hellion wtf is that setup you're running? Why does it look so unconventional?

It's actually pretty straightforward and normal as far as combinations like that are concerned. It's just a 347 with a ProCharger F1-R. There's an air to water intercooler in the passenger seat, so that's where the 4" tube from the blower is going. The filter and MAF on the back of the blower are gone now because the car has a FAST system. Other than that it's just fuel and water lines running from the regulator to the rails and from the water pump in the inner fender to the front of the engine. Pretty typical for an EFI Renegade/ Drag Radial type setup.

To avoid a complete hijack, here's some on-topic stuff.

You have an air to water intercooler in...the...passanger seat? What was wrong with a normal intercooler setup? Do you not have a pass seat or is it like, literally in the seat?

Yep, in the seat.

It's an air to water because they offer more drastic temperature drops than an air to air would, and it's in the passenger seat because it's easy to access, provides better weight distribution, and is in a controlled, usually somewhat cool area. Also it protects all the water lines that run to it from having to run out of the cabin and potentially be cut.

Just so we are clear, this isn't my street car, this is in the race car. My street car is almost the same color, but is a basically stock '96 5-speed GT. I would never run an air to water like that on the street.

Also, our setup is realy tame compared to your typical SSO type car in the NMRA, or even the drag radial cars. Here's a somewhat similar combination, albeit more radical.
