Lokar Dipstick

Does anyone on this forum have a lokar flexible dipstick? I'm trying to insert mine into the hole in my block but it will only go about a quarter of the way in and stop. I've tried lubing it up and pliers but can't get it to budge any further. I really wanted to get my car back together tonight but this thing won't go in...

I have one and think Dalamar bought one also. I did not have any issues with mine at all to be honest. Check the part number before it gets jacked up.

I have it on my 5.4 and it went in fine.

Thanks guys, I found out my problem was I thought I had to snake it through the 2nd & 3rd ports of the header like the stock dipstick tube, I ended up getting it in real easy around the outside of the header.

I didn't even mount mine, and I tried putting it through the header too but just routed it on the outside.
