Hey guys,

Ok, so I have a stupid question and i'm sure it's been asked alot but I haven't found anything on it. I'm planning on to buy a set of BBk LT and my question is am I goin to have problems when i want to replace my clutch, as far as having to take them off in order to get access to remove my clutch components? and if so would i be better of getting mid-length or shorties because besides breath ability i'm trying to go for a good sound..

thanks!

sound wise performance wise .....anywise get longtubes they beat shorties all day long ...not to sure on the clutch thing i would imagine you would need to unbolt it but not really a big deal we did my clutch before we slapped the headers on so no worries

we just put my buddies Cobra on jackstands and replaced his T5 with a TKO 600 in my driveway this week, and he's got BBK Longtubes... all we did was unbolt the bellhousing fromt the tranny, pull the tranny out, then unbolt the bellhousing from the engine, and wiggle it out... put it in the same way, got the flywheel and clutch and all in, slapped the shift fork on, then bolted the bellhousing up, then it took 2 of us to slide the tranny in, and bolted it to the bellhousing, BAM... done... took us 4 hours in my driveway with nothing but hand tools and jackstands...
we did my T5 back in October, but i don't have longtubes... but we did that in my driveway with hand tools and jackstands also... anything is possible, just gotta get a gameplan together before you dive right in.

I've got a friend who has MAC longtubes, and another friend with BBK's... I'm a bigger fan of the BBK's, they look better, and i think just built better... the MACS look cheaper, and i've personally had bad expierence with MAC exhuast products... :dunno:

If you have an auto, BBK doesn't make a LT for an auto...

Macs are mega cheap and the quality shows....BUT that said. I've ran mine for a LONG time and have no complaints. They're going to shit on me one day I know but I damn sure got my money's worth.

I got a mac O/R H-pipe and that damn thing bangs the bottom of the car. i talked to MAC, i will say they have decent customer service, I just think they're cheap, but hell, as long as you get your money's worth, then who can complain?
