You guys in the moderate and subtropical areas that have received a little snow this winter have no idea!

This has been the second snowiest winter ever on record (so far) for our area... and we're not even halfway through February yet. We've received over 55 measurable inches of snow so far this winter season and with very few days above the freezing mark, most of that remains blanketed on the ground.

There hasn't been a Chinook for a few months now :'( the snow won't leave.

My parking spot for my basement suite has been occupied with a snow pile almost taller than me since xmas....

I feel ya will. We had a pretty measurable amount as well (Between 8-12" depending on location) and suddenly for 4 hours we got freezing rain. Those whining about loads of snow, I would take your entire winters amount over this freezing rain. NOTHING is worse than layers of thick ice. Whats worse, we are supposed to get more snow soon. Couple all that with transportation departments that down know how to deal with it and entire populations of drivers who cant drive in it.... This is the result

I just took our snow tires off a couple weeks ago since we had such a dry winter. It hasn't snowed all year in Seattle. I guess I'll be swapping them back on. We got about 3 inches of fresh snowfall last night. Everybody living in the eastern part of the US has had SO MUCH snow!

The dogs loved it though. Here are some pictures I took this morning of them playing.

I've got over a foot of snow piled up on my mustang right now. It's buried pretty deep in my driveway now. I almost had it thawed out a few weeks ago and planned on starting it up... LOL...

Reminds me of the ice storm we had in 2012.
