lookin at a car

ok so im lookin at trading for an 01 gt. 97k miles black on black. the carfax shows like 6 or 7 owners, why do u think so many? and this guy who has it saw my car on craigslist and asked if i was willing to trade. i went and drove the car a couple days ago and it felt good, no weird sounds or anything like that. the guy said right after he bought it something in one of the heads took a poop, so he got them fixed and had them p/p a little bit. (under the hood is Very clean) i asked him why he wanted to trade even up for an older car with more miles and he said that he really likes my car and his wife said he cant buy another one until he gets rid of one (apparently he has 5). im not sure but something sounds a little sketchy.. whats your guys' opinions????

do these two things and if it's good then trade!!!! keep in mind he might like sn95's more than a new edge! people trade sn95's all day long for foxes and no one questions why when they do it!

but in all seriousness, if you have the cash to possible put a new engine in it if something should happen to go wrong, i would do it. gotta love black on black.

this forum doesnt need any more black new edges... jk, it checks out, but personaly would never trade my 00 for a 94-98, and im almost at 200k... so modular engines can last a long time if taken care of.

wait that does have me thinking! there are not too many differences between Sn95's and new edge mustangs other than the body style! and if something wasnt wrong with the car he could sell it and buy a clean Sn95 and still have money left over!!!! Just be careful....

Actually im the guy that had the 2001 gt to trade there is nothing wrong with the car the reason for so many owners is i buy repos from auctions for local car dealers i own a detail shop and had started detailing this one and decided i had bought it at a fair price i would keep it and drive it for a year or two well turns out i have a 2002,2003 and had another 2003 at the time i sold this so intown everyone had new edges and just got sick of seeing the same type of cars decided it was time for a change plus was sick of changing gears in my dd so i saw auto and a clean car with a rare color and decided i wanted it .... plus in my machine shed on the farm i have a 1996 mystic cobra and dont want to put miles on it i also figure a 98 dgs would be an awesome addition. just wanted to clear everything up some think its stupid but its all in what i like and mygreengt's car is very clean hard to find them around here not modded and rusted and wanna be cobra'd lol .
