I am installing a set of Mac long tubes. Looking for some mid pipe suggestions. I am looking for a catted x pipe. Keeping my old cat back for now.

I have a Pypes catted X, other then the fact that the band clamps that came with the kit were very cheap (easily replaced with different stainless ones) it's a great piece

Apparently they don't make one, I looked over at SVTP and have seen VRS or Lethal Performance mentioned.

I've seen mac catted H pipes but the Mac H i had fit like total crap, wouldn't buy another one. I love the Prochamber but yeah no cats. I may try a BBK catted X on mine and just modify it to fit.

All I have found was a pro-chamber. Unfortunately with Pa. inspection the way it is, I need cats.

I've thought about having some high flow cats added to my pro chamber, but the way they have the pipes there isn't much room to work with it on the LT model. pain in the ass.

cats ruin the true sound of a v8 mustang IMO. Get some fake cat shields welded on if you have plug in emission inspections in PA.

Silly question, why go through the hassle of LT's if still running a factory catback?

I was kinda forced into this. The exhaust manifold stud broke at the flange when pulling out the trans to fix a bell housing problem. I need to pull the exhaust manifold to get the broken stud out. If I am pulling the manifold, it gets headers, if it gets headers, it gets a tubular k-member, along with a clutch, bell housing, shocks, struts, and springs.

I am steeling money from one project to do this, so the budget is as tight as possible. I wanted to do this whem my 66 was done. Cat back will be installed later over the winter.

I have shorty headers but a magnaflow high-flow catted-x pipe I have been happy with for a few years now.
