As stated we lover the 95 this weekend and bolted every thing back up.. Now I didnt drive the car after, we just left it parked in the driveway(awing how much better it looked lol) Now I go to leave monday morning and when i put it in rev it felt a little stiff.. Now me bieng dumb I just figured it was due to us taking the calipers off and putting them back on.. Drove about a mile and the ABS lite cam on and after about another half mile or so my 8yrd some asked me whats burning. I pulled up at the stop light and look back and the rear of my car is smoking like i did a burn out.. So I hurry and drive another half mile or so to my mother in laws house and the brakes were hot as hell!!! I think they either locked up on me or were locked when i left the house.. My buddy picked it up and said it looked like the rear was siezed but he got it fixed.. But now the front brakes feel like they need to be changed like I have no pads up there.. I am going to change the pads today or this weekend. Should I be ok after that??

Why the rears were locked IDK. Maybe the e-brake cable got pinched when the caliper was off.
Ck to see if you overheated the rotors (blued). I think they definateky would need replaced then.
If everything looks OK then the brakes most likely just need bled.

The back pads and rotors still look good.. The front when I slow down now feels and sounds like it is grinding... Not sure..

Did you damage one of your ABS sensors? If so, it can make your ABS pump do all sorts of weird things, which would also explain the "grinding" you're feeling in your brake pedal if the pump is modulating pressure.

hes talking about the ring. if you slightly bump that and its out of shape...at low speeds the pedal will pusle and do funny things. i did this to a friends gt on accident. the light came on and all...i tried to fix it, couldnt compromise so i baught him a new hub....

sure you didn't pinch the parking brake cable or stretch one out by some strange means when you dropped it?

hey man

make sure the slider pins on the rear caliper are sliding freely. mine where rusted in place resulting in my brake pad falling out, caliper piston hitting rotor. after i got all that fixed, checked out the passenger side rear caliper and the pins were rusting, but not seized yet so i took care of that while it was still fresh. let me know if you need help with it.

when you say you unhooked them....did you unbolt them or remove the lines? There is a difference

We unbolted them.. Got the rear fixed and then the front sounded like it was grinding.. Went out and took the wheel off and started looking and he put the damn break pad on backwords...Messed up the rotor a little.. Good thing I am getting Cobra front brakes this weekend.. Oh and yes I damn near slapped him in the back of the head when i seen the pad on ass backwords..
