Hydrolic clutch T56, driveshaft, K member, gauges, remounting of the trans cross brace, drivers LT headers would have to me modified I believe. That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

The LS1 is much better than a 4.6 or a 5.0, whether it be a 2v or 4v.

I would definitely do it if I didn't have so much time/money into my sh!tty 4.6.

I DO NOT approve. Sorry, I had a 98 TA when they first came out, granted it was a 4l60e car but it was no faster than my PI swapped GT with bolt ons. It ran 14.2's. The GT I have now has never been to the track, but a recent venture to the street races netted me a door 2 door run with a full exhaust Mach 1 5 speed!! Im auto! The guy in the mach said his times were in the 13.30's.

No way, low 13's with T56. I have LS1 friends, they dont get those numbers. Those times are about right, sorry. Maybe in winter months they could do better, I ran mid august, in TX

Not much different considering mine wasnt ram air. Im sure it may have done better in skilled hands, it was my one and only time to the track in that car before the 4l60e broke.

My friend has a 2002 WS6, bone stock with a 4l60e auto tranny. He runs consistent 13.0's all day long

I've thought about putting an LS in my next project but my friends in my mustang club would castrate me.

LS1 is the lazy mans way of getting easy Horsepower. A real man stands behind his 4.6/5.0L and builds it to be faster than an LSx engine :p. And Javi, Ford didn't continue with Pushrods for at least 1 for sure reason, they didn't want to make them emissions legal so they dumped it. I'm glad they did too, the original 302 windsor block is from what, the 60s? Call me a young gun, but I would take a blown 4v or 3v over my HCI'd 302 just for smoothness. I like the feel of the modular engine, but I also love the old muscle car feel of my 5.0L :p. I put it this way, the OHV is old school fun, the OHC is a fun ride, but takes a bit more to get faster.
