Message: <blockquote data-quote="ScottyDsntKnow" data-source="post: 1122784" data-attributes="member: 10454"><p>Run like hell, those guys up and vanished a while ago with a lot of ppl's money, there is a bigass thread over on the Corral with a LOT of pissed off people.  Also the fact that you can't intercool those units on the 5.0 and you CAN with the Vortech if you get creative.  Even though you really don't need to since non-intercooled it'll make more than enough power to shatter your block into a bazillion pieces if you let it.  Get a used S trim and don't spend more than $1500 for it.  Find one from a seller with good positive feedback and it should not be an issue.  You can also rebuild them yourself for a lot less than what Vortech charges.  Just be aware of all the different trims.  If you can find one of the newer self contained ones (V-3 IIRC) that doesn't require an oil feed line then jump on that thing like a fat chick on a box of Krispy Kremes.  But any low mileage V-1 or V-2 is a winner and you'll be much more likely to find one of those especially at the $1500 price point.</p></blockquote><p></p>
