I wouldn't know if I have complaints yet cause my car has been on jack stands since July lol. I wanted the ceramic coated but i got what I feel was a screamin' deal on some silver ones.

You can still get them coated. Especially now since the car is on jack stands...ceramic headers look sweeeeeeet.

Yeah i could get them coated but i don't really feel like removing them again right now. I used locking header bolts and i don't feel like lifting the engine again. I gave them a fresh coat of paint before install so they don't look half bad.

I used the same set on two different cars over a six year period. I'd say five out of the six yrs I had them out twice a year.
I don't have lift, so installing them with the engine and trans still in the car was a pita.
It would take forever to get the flanges lined up with the bolt holes in the heads.
Burned up my o2 sensor extension once. (My fault of course) Not cheap.
Since the car was lowered they scraped on speed bumps, ect.
Because of the camshaft, the engine shook, which caused them to bang on the floorpan.
Any time I needed to remove the trans, they had to be removed as well.

All I can think of now. Brings back bad memories. lol.

Did you have issues with the primaries warping, causing the flages to not line up with the exhaust ports in the head when putting them back on? I have heard a few people say that MAC LTs are notorious for that. I was looking for LTs and it was between MAC and BBK because they are very close on price. I have also heard that you have to remove one side (I don't exactly remember which side) to replace your clutch.

So then I thought about BBK LTs and a MAC ProChamber... Would it even fit together? I would like to stick to one brand for consistancy, but I don't want the hassle of individual flanges...

No it's not, the last pair i was running i painted several years ago and the paint still looks great on them.

Yes my headers were new but the individual flanges didn't give me nearly as much trouble as i was expecting, it wasn't that big of a deal at all but the solid flange was easier to install. I talked to a guy that can change his clutch and everything with the Mac headers installed, so maybe the Macs allow more clearance.

I would get different bolts with a smaller head (3/8 hex head or 5/16), headers don't leave a lot of room for stock header bolts.

just got mine on today. doin a clutch so i slid em in with the trans out, made it so easy. and these are fox headers ive had laying around. perfect fit! i did have to play with the flanges a little to get the bolts in the head but some of the best fitting header ive ever put on. i do custom exhaust for a living and i say these fit better than a set of kooks i had on my fox.

Yea same deal I Finally installed mines a while back and I had the tranny out cuz I change the clutch, the passenger side header ligned up perfect, the driver side went in good but I had to take them out 1 more time cuz I couldnt fit a wrench to tighten up the bolts, soo I had to heat the it up and ding a notch to be able to fit the wrench on the bolt, other then that I love them the sound great and feel good at hight Rpm, only thing that bugs me is the damn CEL cuz I block the egr :nono:
