$300 would get you a really good deck, blue tooth, satalite, ipod and higher power output. I did some tweeking on my mach system when I installed my deck and before I tore it out for the big system and was suprised how much better it sounded then the stock deck.

I got a new JVC kds36/37 at walmart has everything I want USB, Aux in, Cd changer controls, changes to 29 different colors, sat ready, hd ready at about $100 and the mach wiring was also in stock for under $12 of course you will have to buy a utility compartment to replace the hole left behind by the cd player but I got lucky and scored one locally for $10

plus the radio is black and looks good with out interiors! and set at color #4 it matches the led cool white dash light upgrade exactly!

Yeah I actually dont mind the JVC. For a cheaper unit.. ha i said unit.. anyway.. they arnt bad. They look nice, perform well and wont cost you a fortune. Now, the only thing I dislike is the ability to tune or the overall sound quality the decks produce. But then again you're buying a JVC....

ive only had alpine headunits in my cars before but keep hearing they are crap and have become less tunable so that why i think im going kenwood quality is the only thing that really matters i guess dont need a dvd or screen dont stay in the car that long just 2 hours max
