there will be no loss of sound quality using the splitters, the only thing I would say is to get the highest output voltage possible on the rca outputs. 4v is normally about as high as they go, you might need to get a low level amp called a line driver to get the signal up high enough to make the stock amps happy.

@shovel I would like to keep the amps and speakers stock, it is just the head unit i would like to change to get modern features like bluetooth for example. I want to change as little as possible
@ttocs Okay thank you! I guess I will just try it out then and see what happens. You gave some really good tips and starting points if it doesn't sound right. I first have to settle for a head unit I want, I have something in mind but i have to pull the trigger on the decision ^^
