Hey i posted this in the how to's just bringing attention to it!!

OKAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! figured out how to change the color on the STOCK MACH460 Radio's and CD players. I had an extra radio and cd player laying around and i said Hell i'm gonna take that bish apart... well to my surprise i found that the face plates on the units, disconnect from the decks themselves. So once i popped the face plates off 4 screws by the way, i found 7 small white leds. Now i have just done the Cd player as its the first...
I included a picture:

Well the leds are housed in a BLUE rubber cover....hints the stock green looking color!!!! So if you take the cover off and replace leds With RED for say....it will display the color of the led. Now if you leave the BLUE covers on them then Get the Cool White LEDS and then that ish will be blue.... I still am waiting for my leds to come in to solder these bad boys to the board.. I will keep you guys updated! DIY FTMFW

so they have a blue cover that goes over the led, weird. so your trying to light up the buttons (volume etc) diffrent colors or your trying to make the LED display red? Confused sorry, late and tired might just be me.

okay the way i figure it is...that the buttons will all be red...not sure about the display...but from what i can see there is no other way for the display to light up. (so it must be light from the leds) I am waiting for the red leds to come in, my buddy might have some so i will test it out here maybe tomorrow. The blue covers are there to simulate the green FORD stock color....etc.... So when you change your bulbs lets say in your dash to the COOL white LEDS, then you get blue. So if you change the same thing in the 3mm leds on the stock decks and keep the bulbs you should get the Blue color as well, if replaced with cool leds of course. So i am going to ditch the BLUE covers and replace them with just 3mm RED LEDS. I WILL LET YOU GUYS KNOW!!!!!!!
