I just recently did a complete interior swap on my 96 GT. I went from the black and tan saddle and tan leather to all black cloth. The donor car was equipped with the mach 460 system so the door panels are slightly different. I recently picked up a set of the mach 460 tweeters to match the door panels. The problem im having is that I don't see any way to mount the tweeters to the door. Are there extra brackets I need to get to make them work? Thanks for the help.

The tweeter base slides into the opening on door panel at the bottom of the tweeter pod then there is a screw that goes straight through which holds it to the door before the cover snaps on

Installation instructions,as you can see,YOU DO NOT NEED THE THIRD ONE! However, the small plug is important, as it is completely responsible for controlling the amps. If you make the same mistake as i did, and do not get the correct plug, you'll end up listening to your tweeters. The amps need a low level signal coming from the radio, and therefore require an RCA connection. Also make sure you wire up BOTH amp powers (blue with white stripe) and BOTH amp grounds.
THIS CONTROLS BOTH FRONT (in door) AND REAR SUBS

The remaining tweeters are controlled by a high level output, and can be wired straight into the harness for your after market radio
