ok so i've been looking into getting a 2003 cobra since it's pretty much one of my dream cars... Ok so first i have to tell you i've had some fun with this guy sending messages to him because I'm not sure he really knows what he is talking about... I've 3 friends with 03/04 cobras and the mods that he has listed is a mild 440 hp car, no where near the 578 he claims.. the car...

my first message stated:
"i'd like to see dyno sheets to prove your stated dyno numbers... i don't even see idler pulleys and so on, i'm pretty familiar with the 03/04 cobras and this car with what you've stated doesn't sound like it would produce the hp that you've stated. (Sorry if that sounds rude) I just figured you could email me a dyno sheet.. again I don't mean to sound rude I just rather someone show me dyno sheets to back their numbers..thanks"

He responds: (ha ha)
"the transmition has a $10,000 work to transmit 602HP to the back wheels..the car has 587.18HP, 581.79TQ, dyno 1/4mile [email protected]. Track 1/4 mile [email protected]. Cars normally lose about 12% of HP on the back wheels...but not this one thanks to the work on transmition and gears. How much are you willing to pay???

first off it's not hard to get a cobra into the 10's and his response lets me know he must be a kid because he can't spell...

I had to respond to him and i said,
"Transmission, not transmition; and i'd like to see dyno sheets because i know people with more mods than what you've stated not even seeing 530hp.. also a transmission has nothing to do with how much power you make that is determined by an engine..."

I'm sure i sound like a jerk but come on after reading the page, and after having this guy respond to my questions I mean come on.. i'm frustrated and it's obvious that i'll probably end up waiting to buy my dream car..

He sounds like he has more money than brains...doesnt seem to know anything about the car...other than what people he paid told him.

It sounds like he has a viper spec t 56 with .5 6th gear ratio...thats the only change to gear ratios in the trans that I would think could have been done.

I would stay away if your not going to see this car in person and drive it before you but it.

I mean honestly this guy must be smoking crack. he sent me a message back stating that he wasn't going to waste his time on "non serious" buyers.. and i'm sitting in my chair laughing... I think that people who do this are just suckering other people who know nothing about cars into getting something that isn't what it appears to be.

Also i'd say the car makes maybe high 400's but i've known ppl with ported steggy that are making high 400's and my friend who has 60lb injectors KB bap, Diablosport MAFia and idler pulleys and the smallest pulley for eating only made like 479 hp

I do not plan on purchasing the car; i just thought you guys might get a kick out of this.

Yea....it looks like a nice car but the guy has no idea what he is talking about...one of those rich morons that pays everyone to do things I bet.

On my buddy's 10th Ann '03, he had just about every perf mod you could gave. I believe he had a Stage 3 ported & polished blower on it. It then only made like 486 HP. I'd make sure of that before you buy it. His motor was messing up when he put the 2.3 Whipple on it. He then got like 525 HP? I thought to myself it should have been more. Turns out his motor is really messing up. He thinks once it is all fixed it might make 600. That's with a lot of add-ons.

Dyno sheets wouldnt make a differance...that car with those mods will not make the power he is claiming.

Its like saying a bolt on npi gt put 347 HP to the wheels

People get into the 10's with eatons.. I've seen it done by my friend.. Whipples can put out more like 595 hp just fyi and yes this guy is a moron
