man these rear control arm bushings are killing me HELP?

i cant for the life of me get the rubber out of the metal housings so i can put the energy ones in. i called energy i orderded new bushings w/ metal cause mine were damaged im about to get some stock ones and put them back in. someone help.

Drill several holes. If you're brave, use a torch and burn out most of the rubber.

Yes they are a complete whore to get in and out. The best way of doing it is with a press, or you can get in there with a punch and hammer it out. Slow but it works. Just make sure the housings and the bushings are nice and clean before you grease them up and install.

i've used a torch but it seems to only set the bushing on fire and not go all the way through. will try another way maybe a drill and dremel

Yep, set it on fire and let it slowly burn. You can accelerate with PB blaster.
