Those are shots of my alternator bolts that arn't there anymore..

god this is the second crank pulley in 7 months..

dude i don't know.. like i was driving yesterday and lately i've been noticing my belt slipping a little bit so i knew it was going to snap and it did yesterday so i got a new one put it on ok and now this...

and i have to go to the dealership and get 2 new alternator bolts for the bottom. one for the pi alternator bracket and one for the crank.. man.. what a day

no way sir.. i'll stay 2v but my next car will most likely be a 4v. i'm not sayin i don't like cobras. but this is the only bab around and i love this car. and the more i work on it the more i learn. and become confident to swap heads :afro:

Wow that blows... Since it's the second one I'm wondering if it isn't something internal (vibration) causing that thing to rattle itself apart

i'm not really sure.. it never did vibrate or anything before.

i went to the ford dealership today to get 2 alternator bolts and a crank pulley bolt and they were 5 mins past close and wouldn't help me... pieces of shit.

nother question.. if i put the car in 5th gear and the ebrake up the crank is locked correct? and how many lbs should the crank bolt be torqued?
