Is it possible to use mechanical fuel and oil pressure guages on a 94-95 mustang? If so, what r the neccesary steps to use them?

Of course. For oil pressure, you'll just need to attach the appropriate plumbing and tubing from the port on the driver side of the block where the factory oil pressure switch is. For fuel pressure, you just get a 1/16" NPT adapter for the schraeder valve on the fuel rail, and run your line to the gauge. However, if you run a mechanical fuel pressure gauge, you are running fuel into the driver compartment which is not NHRA legal if you're planning on drag racing.

Thanks Paul, Apprciate it. I do plan on doin a lil drag racing and the electrical gauges r exspensive. The only ones tht were reasonably priced were the autometer sport comp mechanical gauges. Unless you know a a different brand tht might have a reasonable price electrical gauge

I'm sure if you post something in the garage, you'll get 1000 recommendations. I only buy Autometer. The electrical fuel pressure gauges are definitely expensive, like a couple hundred bucks. It's because the pressure transducer switch isn't cheap.
