Ok so heres the deal. As some of you may know, I sold my 97 GT and currently have a nice 90 GT. I have always been a fox kind of guy. Well I have been offered a 97 Cobra with 82K miles on the clock in trade for my wifes 00 Audi TT that has 103K miles. Now usually this wouldn't even require a second thought. Well the wife said that if I trade her TT for the Cobra, that she wants a newer TT (like 05-07) Quatro. On top of that I would also have to sell my 90 GT. So my question is, what would you do? Here is some info on both cars:

1997 Cobra
Black with Saddle Interior
82K Miles
BBK catted H-pipe
MAC Aftercat
t-56 (out of an 03 cobra , less than 5000 miles on it)
custom driveshaft for the tranny swap
Dallas mustangs speed cal to fix speedometer
Smoked fog lights, corners and mains
3" Cobra R cowl hood
8.5mm MSD wires
K&N Air Filter

2000 Audi TT
Silver with Black Interior
103K Miles
LUK Modular Clutch 3,000 Miles Ago
OEM Spark Plugs 50 Miles Ago
1.8L Turbo FWD

If it were TT for Cobra straight up I would say do it. But TT for Cobra then buy another TT and sell 90GT, that is alot. Talk the wife out of the new Audi, then make the trade. Tell her the Cobra is hers, but don't really let her have it.

After a couple months of not giving her the keys, she will give you divorce papers and you will lose everything.

lol, great logic! well see the TT is her "garage queen" and doesnt get drive much since she now has a honda del sol as her DD. To be honest, I havent even put 400 miles on my 90GT since I got it, it mostly sets in the garage as well. I rock my 99 Windstar as my DD..... so technically she doesnt have to get the new TT right away..... but she wont forget about it either. Telling her the Cobra would be hers wouldnt work either, as she is absolutely terrified of my 90 GT.....dunno why but i think it has something to do with walking the car sideways down the road and facing oncoming traffic.....
