Does anyone know where to buy a ring gear that is already Mikronited?
I'd like to have one done, but I'm wondering if I can buy it already treated. then I don't have 3 shipping bills to pay.

Trying to squeeze out every last HP?
Crane Cams sells treated valve train parts but not sure about gears.

How much is it to have done to your gears?

Thanks 1stof3

it's a very interesting treatment where the "polish" in a way, the surface of gears, transmission parts, valve train parts, ect. and it makes it super smooth. benefits are lower friction, lower heat, and makes them stronger.

It's been show to gain 8-10HP from just coating the ring gear, on a mustang. that is outlined on their site.
A lot of race guys currently get all their valvetrain parts, and trany parts ect Mikronited... :)
