I dont know the laws where you live but here any tint is illegal so you would get a ticket for 20% just as likely as 5%

Ive never been pulled over for it and its my DD.

Of course if you get yanked for speeding/ being stupid you should expect him to say something or add a ticket for the tint.

Had to pull my 15% off the front two windows b/c of 2 recent tickets. Just got them retinted too! I'm gonna have 35% (legal) on the front 2 and leave the 15 on the rear. Pics of 15%:

Don't have to use sun visors in the morning.. =) Also, if doing 35%, makes your overall tint job appear darker. Keeps the interior cabin cooler as well. This is cake for experienced tinters. Very easy to do. Looks factory. :thumb:

I noticed you've finally got your saleen banner on the windshield too. does that mean the rest of the graphics are going on soon?

cars look great guys. tint is one of my plans when I start driving the car again. I've wanted to tint my windshield as well, but have wondered if any place would do it... because I'm pretty sure that it's ilegal.

Actually I took the banner off again! I screwed it up putting it on and i'm really picky so it came off. Graphics are definitely going back on the car. I'm just going to wait a few months until I get it painted.

Sup man. If you take the tint off, they will waive the first violation. Thereafter, it's upwards of 160+. But then again it all depends on the mood of the judge.
