well today i raced my frind stock 1995 5.0 auto with flowmasters,my stang 1996 npi 4.6 5 speed dual exhaust O/R X pipe & glass packs & 4.10 :angry7: ,he was fraid to race cause i got gears

40 roll he give me about 2 cars ,from zero stop i passed him until i shift to 3rd then he pulled away from me

damm i miss my 5.0 5 speed 4.10 same mods like my 4.6 but it was alot faster

i was think i well smoke him :dontknow:

go from a dig. i have 4.10s as well. you will pull him in first gear and stay in front.

dont feel bad about your 96, you just didnt race it under the right conditions.

go from 0KPH instead of 40.

do you know how to drive? i mean ive raced a full pi swapped mustang, with 4.10 gears, and boltons, 315's in the rear and i smoked him, with my stock 4.6 lol. with 4.10's you should have beat him. either that or something is wrong with your car. i mean the 5.0 and 4.6 stock for stock, almost just comes down to the driver, ive even raced a 5.0 fox, and edged him out, stock for stock, it was dang close, but he couldnt pull past me.

IDK but I walked a 95 Cobra with full exhaust and 3.73's in my 98GT with stock 3.27 gears and a K&N filter...

I guess it just comes down to the driver sometimes...
That being said,

I've beat my friends old 91 GT from a dig with stock 3.27 gears and a auto with just a CAI and exhaust.

a bad driver always looses a race. Plus it all depends on what speed you take off at say 410s from 20mph would probably suck vs say a 355 gear.

I raced my buddy last night, he had 4.10 gears, I have stock 3.08's, and killed him at a roll on of 50mph or so. It does depend on the driver tho.
