I had them on my 98 GT and noticed zero difference from OEM coil packs.

i put screamin demon coil packs with their matching live wires on a few months ago & i really like them. noticed a little better throttle response, nothing major mind you, but some. i researched on here about the msd packs & most people who had used them had problems not long after they got them. i encourage you to do your research on here before you buy. wish i had done that when i bought that piece of shat mishimoto radiator! wasted my time & money on that piece!! sorry... still get worked up on that subject... anyway, best of luck.

ive heard more negative things about MSD coils than i do good things... ive heard they are prone to cracking...

i used screamin' deamons and taylor wires..... no difference... you wont notice a difference if you install coil packs.

MSD's and all aftermarket COPs (No matter what color they are) are crap. They give up life longevity for increased spark which affects NOTHING on our cars till 7500rpm and up.

WeaponX coils are the only true aftermarket but I have yet to try them. When and "IF" I ever upgrade to a blower bigger than a T trim and I spin my motor to a true 8000rpm then I'll think about it getting the W-x or switch to a GM design. Till then, I'll stick with my 600rwhp and my $90/8 Ebay coil packs.

this was actually on my wish list because i thought it would help my cars ignition since i recently bought new spark plugs and wires. This thread just saved me 160 bucks.

hopefully they are not ALL crap. i looked up the weapon x site: did i see it right that they only have COP for ford modular? they claim superiority like everyother aftermarket part. i guess the only REAL way to know if a part is good (worth it) is to try it or ask others what they're experince was/is with the part in question. i liked screamin demon from performance distributors because of their racing experince & r&d program for all their stuff. BUT, then again, since everybody's part is better than everybody's else's, it's just a trial & error, see what works. that's the part i hate about aftermarket: "ours is best, no ours is!" but on the flip side of that is the fun & experince gained from trying new parts.
