I have been hearing alot of hype over msd products, I have a built 306 h/c/i car and I have been swapping bunch of diffrent things on my car wondering if it will help with my tunning dyno problems I have been running the stock coil pack, I was wondering what the gain is of swapping to aftermarket msd coil pack on a 5.0 car? I have heard they are junk and others say I should swap the stocker out for the new msd? whats the gains of them

if you do one..do them all..meaning..if you do the coil pack do the dizzy, cap, rotor, wires, and one of their ingnition boxes..

I am currently running msd distributor/cap and rotor and ford racing plug wires, and still running stock ignition and stock coil pack..why run them all? I was told I didnt need the 6al box so I sold it I didnt plan on doing a blower kept it n/a and the factory rev limiter is 6,250 rpms which is fine but I purchased the msd street fire tfi module coil pack which says can be used with stock ignition / replacement

take a step back here. what tuning dyno problems are you having that you think you need a new coil to fix it?

I HAVE a thread of all the problems and things I needed to fix and replace, before I head back to the dyno I wanted to fix and replace stuff hopeing I dont waste more money on a dyno / tune and have same problems or more and low numbers?
