Steering wheel issue. The original is rather worn and I was able to get a second one in the right colour. I am going to have it covered in leather by a German company that specializes in steering wheels. I am going to let you see the result.
Other things I want to do in the interior: I want a nice gear knob or change the stick for a Hurst quick shifter if I can find one. Then I want to get Recaro front seats and have them covered in the same saddle leather as the original ones. I think it might be hard to find some consoles that really fit. But I will let you know what I can achieve.

So you're in the Weinstrasse area?
Some parts kept coming in. Another boot lid, the spoiler I want for it, Hurst shifter from Ford Performance, another fuel tank lid, 4 original Motorcraft Oilfilters, original owners manual, original Ford Workshop manual for 1996 Mustang. I now have ordered two gaskets for the shifter and that cup. All via CJ Ponycars as LMR does not ship to Germany unfortunately.

It's a rare thing to see an SN95 in Europe. I think I've seen two others in Germany, owned by Germans (not Americans).

So here it is; the second steering wheel I sent away to a German company that does steering wheels. I just wanted to try the 12 o`clock marker in beige so it somehow fits in the interior colour scheme. Once installed it should look and work quite okay I think.
It took ages to get these. Now I have two of them for a start. I have to do an oil change soon so I wanted to have the good stuff for my baby. I looked forward to installing one of those since I first saw that this Ford Racing product is available.
Good news; I finally seem to have found a decent paint job in my area. I took the Saleen Style Spoiler and the tank lid to them on a Thursday and on the following Monday they called me to tell me the parts are ready to collect.
Here are the pictures of the tank lid. The one that was on the car was messed up with a "lock" that one of my precedessors thought was neccessary. I know it is only a small step but I am really happy I found that paint shop.
