It is an automatic. I can be going 50, then turn off the traction control. I punch it & get wheel spin!! Maybe even @ 60, not sure though. I was so proud of @ 50, kinda forgot much else. I just can't believe an auto can do this. My '95 could barely do it from a stand still.

Sick man! I was reading about the new 5.0 auto cars, apparently you can calibrate them to shift so hard into second it breaks traction with drag slicks on the drag strip.

I think the new autos are great! They can beat most guys with sticks as they never mess up the shift! I have a bunch of Roush friends with supercharged cars...the wife of one beat them all on the strip with her auto car! Woodburn, Or. dragstrip. And the '11's are even better!

Really? Most people feel just the opposite in heavy stop & go traffic! I much prefer sticks for the fun factor too but I spend some time in the Calif. Bay Area traffic from time to time...& there is no way I can live with 2-3 hours of first & second gear on the freeways! In 110 degree weather to boot! I had a supercharged Roush once & had to pull over & let my left leg quit spasming. Some days I never can get into 5th gear down there! No fun!

Thats what I mean. The traffic stinks but I just find driving an auto so boring. I guess it depends if you got a good feeling clutch.

Well some people would love a stick shift, but not all can have one because of medical/disability issues preventing them.
