A little update.

A while back I finally got the high and low side schrader valves replaced, so all i needed was a recharge and it should be good to go.

Fast forward a little bit.

About a month ago i decided to hit the track for the first time in at least 4-5 yrs with g36 monkey, silverv6 and whitey. Never mind how that went...Needless to say the car hadn't been driven in about a week or 2 prior to that. So what happens when i start her up and start drivin', my battery light starts flashing every few seconds. Awesome. Fast forward to 2 days ago when 96_281GT came over. We were having an A/C recharge party. As i'm about to charge the 2nd can different cluster lights start comin' on and the car starts to die, then finally does. Took it off and got it tested, it failed with flying colors.

Shit.

So 147$ later, i got me a new Motorcraft reman.

So now that she's up and running again i had to continue the recharge. Knocked off the 2nd can and then bought these 2. Put the oil in there and about half of the 3rd can.

After about 7 yrs of it not working...i now have ICE COLD AIR. Que the FEELS GOODMAN pic.

Gotta love fixin shit like that. After getting my first 99 that had working AC(previous 3 Mustangs had it deleted, NOT by me..) I told myself Id never own another without it. NOT worth the MAYBE 5hp you pick up and 20 lb loss of weight.

Parts update. Picked these up from 330CubeGt today.

A set of Poly motor mounts that are pretty new, 'cause i am in desperate need of some new ones. And a rack with offset Poly bushings and new tie rods. Might have a local welder friend weld me up a set of subframe connectors soon, if i ever buy some.

So yesterday i got some shit done at work.

Did a much needed oil change, readjusted my pipes and now have NO exhaust leaks(finally), and swapped driveshafts. There's something wrong with my aluminum me thinks, so i put the stocker one back in. After driving home the vibrations were gone, so that def. tells me something is up with the aluminum one.

there is a clocking method. if it vibrates one end turn 90* on the flange til it fits and stops vibing.
