**This is pretty much a copy/paste from the build thread on a tallahassee forum i'm on.**


I picked this baby up in Feb. '06, 3 months before i graduated HS. My first and only stick car.

The first pic i saw of it.

When i brought it home.

Some early work on it, cleaning the interior.

First mod?

First thing i broke, e-brake cable.

New shocks n struts.

This was the first time i drove her out on the road, pretty scary lol. Went to a BBQ with the guys on the forum.

After the BBQ at one of FSU's garages.

My first real problem with the car, would start fine sometimes and other times it wouldn't start at all...come to find out loose ground wire.

Typical 'stang owner, to quiet down my straight pypes. Delta flow 40's

Got rid of the junk that came in the car, indash tv and dvd player for this new Pioneer unit.

Cruise to Sonny's up in south GA.

I was looking to get some wheels at the time, but of course had a hard time deciding what to get. Then i found these, hadn't been out long so not many people had them yet, let alone in Tally. I still don't think anybody in town has these.

Back to skool cruise a few yrs back.

First time at the track.

The next checkpoint in the cars journey would be the loss of my bumper. On a rainy sunday evening i was heading to summerbrooke on meridian and took a left onto bannerman a little too fast. The car did a 180 and i ended up in a ditch. Knocking a nice dent at the right front, breaking the fog light and cracking the header panel. For some retarded reason i thought taking it off would make it look a little better. Dumb idea. No pic of me in the ditch tho.

Not too long after that i popped my tranny leaving work to go to lunch. Broke the 1-2 shift fork, almost broke the 3-4 and couldn't get it out of gear. So what if i shift too hard lol.

So i get it towed to skool, pull the tranny and get it fixed. Install it back in the car with a new pilot bearing, TOB, syncromesh fluid. I shit you not the day i drove it home from skool my harmonic balancer decided to run off, literally.

So the car sits for a few months while i figure out what to do. I eventually bought a set of U/D pulleys and a Matco puller set and get to work.
- new Steeda pulleys
- new Matco set
- new crank seal
- new water pump
- new belt tensioner
- new gatorback belt
- new OEM clutch cable
- new OEM windshield cowl
- new OEM washer jets

Around the same time this happened i also noticed the sheath of my clutch cable binding going into the firewall. No wonder the pedal was so hard over the yrs, shitty parts store cable. I also went ahead and bought a new windshield cowl and 2 washer jets due to clogging and a cracked cowl.

Last time at the track a few yrs ago, managed a 14.7 @ 95mph spinning on sumitomos.

If i recall this was the last thing i did before i moved, wish i had a pic of the old wheel lol. Doesn't even compare.

- new FR500 steering wheel
- new set of OEM floormats via ebay

Alright between those last track pics and the next update i moved down here to O_town. Before i moved out of my old apt. here i was having starting issues. So my car sits for a week or so and then i get around to replacing the battery and the positive terminal. Drive around for a bit only to find new noises and vibrations. Come to find out my wheels were nearly stolen while my car was sitting. Only 1 or 2 lugs/locks on each wheel. So aside from that i could have been in a serious accident, thank you Ford wheel locks. But before i move the starting issue comes back, so i push start it over here to my new place and it sits in the garage for a few months. Then i get around to puttin' it up on jacks and replace the starter, problem solved. Right after i got it goin' i threw on some new rear tires too.

- new positive terminal
- new Motorcraft battery
- new Motorcraft starter
- new rear 315/35 Nitto NT555's

Here are some pics from Nov/Dec 2010...

One thing i did before i put the bumper on was do a little cooling system upgrade.

- Mishimoto upper and lower hoses
- Motorcraft t-stat
- Motorcraft reservoir tank

Some assembly required with these hoses, like for realz.

Picked this stuff up from Blue Oval Industries a while back.

- Cobra headlights and fogs

At work post install.

Short time after that, installed some new shoes for the front.

Back in Nov. i snagged these for the front on the low low.

A couple of weeks ago at one of the UCF garages courtesy of my photographer roommate.

Some new stuff i ordered recently.

Got some work done this wknd. All of the backseat is now removed, 40-50lbs prolly. I installed the pedals which look great and improve pedal feel. Today at work i changed the oil and installed the D/S. I can def. tell the difference in acceleration and the vibrations are gone, soooo much smoother now.
