I bought a 88 GT in 2008 but the body was in rough shape. It had a decent drivetrain ran 13.0's w/302, T-5, and 3.90 gear. To make a long story short I picked up a 95 GT shell in 2008. 2010 the car was up and running for awhile till the it started pushng oil out of the breather and dipstick tube.:mad: It was time to think of new power plant but knowing I want to run boost I wanted something that could take some abuse and that 302 wasnt going to cut it in my eyes! So with some help from the fam a 410w was in the works!

The Engine 410w 83 351w Block, E7 Heads(Yes 302 smog E7's ported and polished and larger valves), Lunati Cam, Professional Products Hurricane Intake and Elbow, Professional Products Balancer, Canton Oil Pan, Scat Rotating Assembly, 36lb Injectors, and MSD Distrbutor.

With the Strange Struts and coil-overs also put in CC plates, Rear Strange Shocks and Baseline Relocate UCA, LCA, and Anti-roll Bar. I needed to get the nose down.

If u notice the hole in the hood... yeah them damn 351w dont fit under stock hood. :grin:

Did more testing and got her down to new best 11.80 @ 117. Plans for 2013 Subframe connectors, new fans, 8.8 support cover, and maybe some race wins would be nice too!

Put some edelbrock victor jr.'s and you'll run 10's lol but nice little car you got there.

Nice ride and times for the heads on it. I agree some victor jr's would really wake her up

I disagree with ur sig......not all race cars have 3 pedals...id says a real race car has 2, real racers use trans brakes....IMO

You've gone 11.80's with an E7 headed 410w??? How much does your car weigh? That's awesome!! I also have a 410w (fresh, no track time) and that gives me hope for 11's!!

I dont have any vids yet ... but hopefully get some this season. When it warms a little more i can post a vid of her idling in the driveway. I am leaning more towards the AFR Heads for they r known for have thicker deck surfaces. I want to get a better trans before adding anymore power I didnt think the my t-5 would live with my big inch sbf in front of now let alone another 100 hp!

I took some weight out of it but it still a tank!
Things removed:
Back seat
Hvac Unit
Audio System
Basicly anything that was bolted down in the car was removed

It still has power windows, locks, drivers seat, front steel bumper, OEM K-member, front control arms

Thanks... Alot of my friends didnt think it would be that quick with these heads and wouldnt make power past 5-5500 revs! She will pull to atleast 6500 I know that for sho! :grin:

I have updates last year took the car out and hurt the motor! :( I melted #5 piston block and cylinder head between #6 & #7. So now the car has Vic Jr heads Super Vic EFI intake I took it for test runs on Fathers day still pig rich AFR's (10.5) I had best run of 11.60 @ 119

Negative again. :) real racers use the steering wheel and brakes!!
