my car story

alright so i know i said maybe a week or two ago that i would be trading my gt for a cobra. well it never fell through cuz the kid had "court fees". so i was pissed, got over it. anyway me and my buddy got on craigs list (were looking for a cheap project car) and found a 93 talon tsi. awd turbo for 900 bucks. which we are wanting to fix up and sell for a couple grand more.only thing wrong with it is it needs motor mounts and those are like 140 for all 4 we need. so fellow mustang guys what do you think waste of money or dream come true.

woah ya i can see where that can be confusing. were in between keeping it and modding the hell out of it. but at the same time i want my car to be fast and dont want to put a bunch of my money into a different car. that or trying to make a decent profit out of it.

Bwahaha, and you'll never get rich flipping DSM's. That car has probably been passed around like a drunken freshman girl at a frat party, it's got issues, I garrantee it.

hahah well we went to look at it yesterday. first off it was in the ghetto thought i was going to get shot. then we get there and i ask if i can drive it so i go to start it with it in gear and the clutch in...dies. take the clutch out start it and put it in to first....dies. found out it didnt have a clutch cable nor it was a tsi. fwd and no turbo. we were there for a good 30 minutes until i was like lets leave and so we did. i had a good feeling it was going to be like that anyway but my friends stubborn as hell so

if you want something to fix up i got a 93 stealth. that is locked up..

just shortblock it and you got a daily driver w/ 25+mpg. full infinity sound, new tires, and a rebuilt tranny/clutch.

So how much would it cost to get a short block for it? arn't they turbo'ed? and how would i get it to NC lol.

It's a 3.0 Dodge/Mitsu V6 in either SOHC, DOHC, or DOHC turbo form. The regular DOHC was most common, and you can get a good longblock for 600-1000 bucks.

what shape is it in other than the shortblock? sure pics would be nice... tell me a little about the car and what your asking for it everyone on here will till ya with me cheaper is better lol. But yea pm me.
