ok so i am extremely PO'ed.
Last sunday was my day off work so i was sleeping in and to my avail my dad wakes me up at 9 to tell me he hit my car backing out of the driveway..
AAAHHH!!!!
At first he said he only busted the mirror of so i was ok with that since i was lookin at getting some aftermarket anyway and now he could pay for them but when i got outside and seen the extent of the damage i was FURIOUS!!!

Now not only has he tore my mirror off but he put a nice little crease dent in my door.

Anyone got any ideas about fixing this?
Ive tried to find a paintless dent repair place around my area but have come up with nothing.

Its also right on the freakin accent line on the door so its gonna be a PITA!!!!

Also i got my mirrors in today and they are power mirrors with turning signals in them.
Anyone have any idea how to wire these things up and the power window wires didnt come with a factory harness so im gonna have to cut and splice, the only
problem is that the wires on the mirror are Red black and white and on my cars wireing are purple and other crazy colors.
Any help there would be apreciated.

And I have no clue where i would need to run the turning signal wires to from the mirror..

Thanks guys.

go to a pull your own parts salvage yard, pull a mustang door, strip and prep door, take door and car toe paint shop and have it painted to match, take it home and install it and all of your current door compnants. there ya go, the cheapest and best way to fix it right.

Sorry about your luck, but NC_Mystic said it. Get a used door in the same color or have it painted to match.

Dude..........Please, Please, PLEASE...DO NOT rice out your Mustang like the one in the link in your sig. It'd be a damn shame if you did. If that's your taste, so be it. All I'm saying is, be ready to be flamed to no end.

Good luck fixing your ride.

Ive only heard bad things about mirrors with turn signals in them. Ive heard they're terrible at night because you cant see your mirror because the turn signal light is so bright.

I think the turn signal mirrors he's referring to, are the ones in the link in his sig. The import tuner style....again, not my taste but it's your car.

ha ha that would be awesome... and no my plan isnt to rice out my ride, i just like my car to be different and im not gonna totally go all out with the body kit and all that but i apreciate your concern... although it does not help me with my problem posted on this thread....

The price it would cost me to get my car repainted would be greater than the price it would probably cost me to get the dent fixed....
so i dont see that as being an option...

Here's some pictures that might help....

500 bucks? No way. I dont see that at all if you find a door prep it for paint and get it painted no way its gonna cost that much! thats rediculous hah. Paint isnt that expensive especcialy since you only need enough to paint a single door.

I think $500 is a little steep. I would keep shopping. I'm pretty sure you could have it for under $200 if you bring them a complete door.

FYI, you cant just color match a door, all the panels surrounding the door need to painted or blended for it to match correctly.

i've seen it done astonishingly well with not blending.

A good painter can get it close if the rest of the car's paint isn't in terrible condition.
