it's looking pretty bad. when i put them on tere was just a little bit of brown tint around one of the weld from the tube to the collector and everything else was perfect.

but now not even a month later, the passenger side header has alot of rust in a line running down the side of the tube, it looks like it's 10 yrs old. I know the a/c drips down that headers and when i turn it off it beads up on the collector and drips off, would that cause that much rust?

your a/c drips, plus any moisture in the air, any condensation and oxygen is going to make some rust if the parts are not
properly covered.

what kind of ceramic coated headers did you get? You should contact the manufacturer about them.

if they are truely ceramic coated then they shouldn't rust. its the "chrome" or just plain painted ones that do that..
i have chrome bbk LTs on mine, i bought them used, and they still havent rusted.. go figure.

I agree !
My Dynomax shorts have been on my car for over 10 years and the Jett Hott Coating still looks almost brand new and no rust at all.

they are probably not Stainless steel if they are ceramic coated, and if they were stainless steel, even a low grade stainless wont rust as much as you say yours have. usually just little speckles of rust appear here and there.

i'll contact bbk and then i'll take pics of the rust later.

They're BBK's? That's why, you should see the "ceramic coated" headers on my Fox, they look like they were in Lake Erie for 10 year's, lol.

Just on the phone and call the manufacturer. If they won't do anything and you are stuck with them, I say sand off the rust and wrap the headers up...
