My New project

Well I always wanted an 03 cobra but i couldnt afford one and my car is almost paid for....so I decided to do the swap. Ive been collecting parts about the last month and Im almost ready to start. here is what I have so far.

blower with 2.76 pulley
lower intercooler
lower manifold including water tubes and outlet
coolant crossover
03 alternator and brackets
idler brackt and idler where the 99 alt would sit
60lb injectors with adapter harness'es
SCTBA2400 MAF
lower cage and pulley
harmonic balancer
timing cover and tensioner
pulley bridge and tensioner
IC pump and bracket
IC hardlines
snub bracket with stock idler for now
both coolant tanks
01 C-heads
plenum and TB
Stock 03 cobra pistons
stock 03 connecting rods
brand new 03 block
forged 98 crank

Im waiting for these parts to get here:
03 water pump pulley
03 T-stat housing

Im using my aviator pump and running and inline 255 pump. Ill also be using my stock 98 fuel rails that im going to modify. Also hopefully Im going to switch to aftermarket idlers and get the eaton POSI ported. Itll be nice once I get it up and running. I will be keeping the stock 98 cobra hood so no one will ever know.

Good project,you may have to cut your hood just a lil.

So this is going into a 98 Cobra? If so what was wrong with the block in it? why would you use the iron instead of the teksid block? anyways some pics would be cool atleas of the car its going into and what not. Best of luck with the build.

Javi im taking the insulation off the hood and Iwill notch it around the IAC location but a 2.8 pulley clears the hood and Ill be running a 2.76

And there is nothing wrong with the block that was in the car. I got a good deal on the iron block though and It is brand new so no machine work, plus I dont have to modify the knock sensor bosses.
