something that clearly has a "POS" mode you can put it in...

HAHA well in POS mode it will walk all over your car

there is some d-bag that runs around with an aftermarket blow off valve on one of those in my neighborhood. I think its cool if you like them but they can get really riced out so mod with good taste in mind

I am probably going to be leaving it stock for a long while, maybe give it some tint and that's about it.

You find one that hasn't been modded and it would have been different. 99% of them around here were modded. I wanted something that wasn't. Oh and subie is only 3/10's of a second faster by the way in stock form!!

oh i'm not talking about speed wise, just for resale value, long term reliability, and looks. i was also under the impression you bought this car NEW, in which case a NEW subie wouldnt be modded either.

i like the cars, i just dont trust mazdas craftsmanship, their engines do not hold up for even 100k miles usually, and replacement parts are outrageous....

Yeah that was the problem around here. It sucks but this is BONE STOCK. It'll stay that way for a while but supposedly with a tune, boost controller and a full exhaust these are dipping into the low 13's and even the high 12's
