right now i am buying a x cal2 tuner, mac longtubes and trying to find the pi intake. i was thinking about a transgo shift kit i have 4:10's and an exhaust what else is good? what other bolt ons are worth the money?

and another question- If i did buy the pi heads, couldnt i have them shaved for higher compression just put them on or would i have to look into a full rebuildbecause ok the 103k and whats worth the money, rebuild/swapping in pi or rebuilding/swapping in dohc(from like a lincoln)

i thought about pi cams and it seems not worth the effort. swapping cams, i would rather buy good cams instead of just switching to another set of "stock" cams. i really like the sound of a cammed car to.

for the pi intake you have two options.

1. buy a premade "kit" (i didnt do it this way, costs too much)
2. buy a PI intake, and water pump coolant tube nipple, the coolant hose the runs under the intake, and a PI alternator bracket. also wil need a tube or RTV sealant,

There are MANY MANY MANY writeups un the RTV method. To answer your question, yes. it will. you just need the parts i have listed. or you can take heater hose instead of buying the tube.

yeah I have heard good things n bad things about pulleys but I was just naming some bolt ons..... But thats with just about anything........For example the pi swap some people have no problem after install then again some go through hell and with the Pi intake shouldn't have no problems as long as u got the installation parts

no you won't want to shave the heads, they'll raise your compression anyway about 1 point.

most bolt on's suck. for the gain.
cams, PI im and gears IMO.

after that, your into headswaps and or blowers to get some power.
don't waste money on bolt on's that won't gain crap on a NPI assembly. save it for the power parts. :)
