N/A cam

i know an aftermarket cam wouldnt do anything significant without heads and a nice intake but would it hurt performance of my stock 94 at all? reason im asking is because i have a tick coming from the motor and nothings been replaced so i want to replace the lifters rods and rr and figured id might as well throw in a new cam while im at it. i like the steeda 19 and its ecu friendly but isnt it ideal for boosting rather then N/A? so any cam opinions? i dont have anything wrong with ford cams(B,E,F etc.) but i know there are better ones out there... thanks guys

Replace the cam when your replace/rebuild the engine or put in a set of heads.

I agree, in a stock engine it's pointless and will probably make your car slower.

you would have to remove the head to put the cam in, so why would you put the stokers on? I just got a set of trickflow heads on sale and now I am waitng for a good cam for a good price as well as RR and pushrods. I wouldn't want to crack the top end off with out doing everything at once. Time is money....
