It's seems only to be making a sound when the engine is revving and torquing, so look for any clearance issues. Sounds like a loose bolt or torque vibration. Make sure motor mounts are tight, headers/exhaust is not hitting when engine is torquing, all belt accessories clear, all bolts tight, ect. If all else fails crank up the tunes.

94-95's have electric fans...i.e. no fan clutch. Is the car an automatic? Sounds like it could be a flex plate. OTHER WISE, it sounds like something rattling against the exhaust. did you drop anything down there (bolts or tools)?

it's a 5 speed, and nothing has dropped down in the motor that i know of. If i go out and run it hard past like 3k rmps it gets alot worse so that it's almost making the noise all the time, even at idle. Then after i go home and it sits for awhile and then i go back out and drive it again i can drive it nice and easy without noise unless i get on it again past like 3k rpms...

You got something loose rattling around. start it up....get it to make the noise. THEN, shut the car off. Hop out remove the belt, start the car again and see if the noise persists. This will help eliminate some things. TO ME...it sounds 100% like loose hardware on the exhaust. is the mid-pipe stock or after market? Headers? etc...

So I took my belt off, and reved the motor as i did in the video and it stated to make the noise again. It sounded like it was coming form the water pump. The water pump pulley even tried to turn when the noise started. So now i'm confused because I thought the water pump was only ran by the pulley, which would mean the belt would have to be hooked up as it wasn't...

Well I decided today to take out the water pump and replace it. Ordered one from summit so it should be here in a couple days. Hopes this works, otherwise it's back to the drawing boards...

I doubt its that. A water pump wouldn't make that noise...however, the pulley might have been loose....it would make that sound. Its a hollow "tinny" sound...there are only so many things that can make that noise.

Well guess i'm doing general maintenance to my car then. I'm also changing out my thermostat, it and my water pump have 133k miles on them being that my motor is all original. I'll let you know what happens with this, and go from there... Maybe I wont be selling my car after all putting this money into it now...

Thats the exact noise my car is making right now. I made a post thinking it was the power steering pump. I know its not the exhaust because it was making the sound before and after my header install and everything was taken off and retorqued for that. Yesterday I took a long ass screwdriver and placed it on the waterpump while revving it and it seems the noise is definitely coming from there. Im also going to replace the waterpump and see how it goes.

Ok so I wanted to see if mine made the noise with the belt off too. Sure enough it does. Got to poking around and noticed the balancer has a nice shiney ring around the edge of it and my blue water pump pulley has a silver ring around the inner edge. So I felt around the back of the balancer. Sure enough rubber was coming out. This is your problem as well Im guessing. Time for a new Balancer!!

Ok, so i just went out and felt around the back side of my balancer, and i felt the rubber I believe that you are talking about. Mine has some chunks missing around it also. How does that cause this noise exactly? I was checking out the one below from summit and wondering if I have to order the rubber part separate, or if it should come with it?

Yes that is the rubber I am speaking of. When the rubber comes out it causes the balancer to be well unbalanced. Then it comes in contact with your water pump pulley, thus making the water pump appear to move when the belt is off. Do NOT drive it like this. The balancer being unbalanced can cause the bearings to become fubared.

The balancer in the link is all you need. Personally Im just pickig mine up from the local AutoZone and it comes with a lifetime warranty. Only like 3 bucks less than the Ford Racing one.

That was the next shot. your balancer is most definetly toasted. common problem. You can put a stocker or stock replacement on there or you can pay a few more bucks for an SFI approved one and be done with it for the life of the car. If you're sticking with a mild street motor, stock replacement is fine. Highwinding, gear-banging shifts (i.e. rapid changes in RPM) I'd go aftermarket.
